This number has buzzed me a couple of times yesterday and again just now. Every time I pick up, they hang up straight away. Feels like spam to me, should I just block it?

Utterly appalling conduct from the RED CROSS!

I rang this number hoping to get in touch with The Red Cross about enrolling in a course. I was utterly taken aback to discover they utilise premium rate numbers, effectively dupe unsuspecting callers! Their website states, “Calls cost 5p per minute, in addition to standard call rates.” However, my experience was quite different, racking up a bill of £4.55 for just SEVEN MINUTES of chatting!
I can't in good conscience donate to an organisation that operates in this manner again.

Not sure what that was, but I've blocked it just in case. Could be one of those expensive premium calls, so watch out!

I just had a chat with the Red Cross on 08448718000. Can you believe they hit me with a £1.38 bill for a call lasting just over two minutes? All I wanted to know was if they offered free electric wheelchairs. They assured me they'd follow up with a call, but surprise, surprise - I’m still waiting!
