Really shocking what the RED CROSS has done here! Totally unacceptable!

I rang this number hoping to get through to The Red Cross to sign up for a class. I honestly didn’t expect them to be using premium rate numbers like this, catching people off guard! Their website claims “Calls cost 5p per minute, plus standard call charges.” But for me, a 7 minute chat ended up costing £4.55, which seems way over the top. I’m definitely not supporting them again if this is how they operate.

Not sure what that was, but I've blocked it just in case. Could be one of those expensive premium calls, so watch out!

Got a call from 08448718000, turned out to be the Red Cross. I phoned them back to check about a free electric wheelchair they mentioned, ended up paying £1.38 for a call that lasted just over 2 minutes. They said they would call me again but never did. Bit disappointing really.
