I've been dialling this number to connect with folks in the USA for quite a while now and never faced any issues. But, this week, I made a call without a second thought, as I presumed it was just 1p per minute. I ended up chatting for a good 40 minutes, only to find that my recent phone bill says I’ve been hit with a £4.30 charge. That’s far from what I expected, and I’m really not keen on using this number again with fees like that. It would be fair to get some sort of warning if the rates have changed, don’t you think? What on earth has gone awry? I’d welcome any responses on this matter.

I dialled that number when making calls to Europe, specifically to places like Croatia and Germany, and it was only a penny a minute. But I’ve now noticed that the charges have skyrocketed to five or six times that amount. How on earth is the provider allowed to do this? It feels like daylight robbery!
