It won’t leave you alone until you’ve sorted things out with the representatives and reinstated the payment. Interestingly, the 0844 number when dialled from O2 devices is treated as a free call, as it’s akin to calling customer services. I’m well acquainted with this, having been an O2 customer for 14 years, and every year like clockwork, my bank seems to manage to mess it up. Perhaps they ought to concentrate on fixing their incompetence instead of fretting over their hefty bonuses!
