I received a call from this number not long ago. Interestingly, the caller asked for either me or my partner by name, but they didn’t quite get it right - they only used the latter half of my double-barrelled surname. The chap on the other end appeared to be of Asian descent. Has anyone else experienced a similar call? We mentioned it was the wrong number and promptly ended the conversation! Honestly, one would expect them to know the proper name at the very least!

I received a call from this number a while back. The callers seemed to know either me or my partner and mentioned our names. I received a call from this number earlier today. They mentioned my name, or rather, my partner's, but they got it wrong-my name is double-barrelled, and they only used the last part. The callers seemed to have an Asian accent. Does anybody have a clue who might be behind this? We let them know they had the wrong number and then hung up! Honestly, you'd think they could at least bother to get your name right!
