I received a call from a company called 'Digital Protect' asserting that we had been subscribed to a complimentary maintenance plan for our Sky devices over the last year. They're now trying to impose a charge of £17 every three months or £64 annually. If we even had Sky equipment, I might have been more inclined to believe them. However, when I pressed the lady on the details of the supposed previous year’s services, she was unable to provide any clarification and eventually cut the conversation short.
