I was gobsmacked. Not only do I have to cover the cost of returning the item cause it was too small, but I’m also hit with a ridiculous fee to get a bigger size sent out! 08448441111. NOT GOOD. Was shocked to realise this is Cotton Traders. From now on, I’ll be steering clear of them. They don’t seem to be the same as before, which is a shame. Had a look on Companies House and it looks like things have really changed. Original owners Fran Cotton and Steve Smith are listed as "ceased," so I guess the company’s under new management, which explains the difference in how they act.

I rang up to cancel catalogues sent to my late wife's name since I’d already stopped them before. Didn’t know it was a premium rate number. After this, I’ll be careful about buying anything from CT. There’s plenty of trustworthy firms out there that don’t charge you to get in touch, so I’ll stick with them.

I rang them since their site didnt accept the promo code. Honestly, it wasnt worth it cos the call cost more than what I was saving. Next time, I’ll be sure to reconsider before using their service, especially if the website keeps acting up like that.

I called the Cotton Traders UK Order Line because I had a voucher and found out they don't accept them online. Was pretty annoyed to see I got charged £8.14 since I usually have free calls. Their website mentions a cost per minute but fails to say it's a premium rate number. Quite misleading if you ask me.

Cotton Traders, indeed a genuine contact, but the billing practices on their order line leave much to be desired! I was hit with an exorbitant fee simply for inquiring about an order I'd made. It's quite outrageous that one must be cautious when reaching out to what is supposed to be a reputable company!

Not sure who left the note below on 20th Feb, but 0161-286-4321 looks like it could be a scam, not Cotton Traders. Check out [#][#]unknownphone[###]/phone/01612864321. Even tho it’s marked as NEUTRAL on the ‘who called me’ site. Cotton Traders Overseas Customer Care use a different 0161 number (00 44 161 3747220).

20/1/20: Tried ringing Cotton Traders to place an order as their website wasnt working but ended up calling this number without realising it costs 7p/min from mobiles plus an extra access fee. Avoid it at all costs. Use 0161 286 4321 instead. Honestly, feels like a bit of a rip off!

I find it absolutely appalling that a company would impose charges on its order hotline. This experience has certainly put me off ever ordering from Cotton Traders again, especially after stumbling upon an unexpected fee on my mobile bill. It's the first and last time they'll be seeing my custom!
