We received a call from this number, but sadly only managed to catch a missed call. We had just been in the midst of sorting out some insurance quotes through Confused.com. Could it be that this was a customer service line for an insurer?

I received yet another call from the same number just ten seconds apart! Turns out it was Direct Choice insurance. Initially, the caller was rather courteous, but when we mentioned that we preferred the AA, as they were only slightly more expensive and we have more faith in them, the tone took a nasty turn. The caller became quite rude and hung up on us before we could even finish explaining our reasoning-it's quite baffling, really! We were merely trying to articulate our stance, though we hardly got the chance to do so.
