If your alarm isn’t programmed to automatically alert the Police when it goes off, the alarm firm can usually switch that off. They’ll probably have to come round to your place to do it though. Just thought I’d share in case it’s useful!

Spotted an unexpected £6.50 added to my phone bill today. I must’ve dialled this number somehow, but I honestly can’t recall why. The call lasted about 9 minutes and it ended up costing me loads. Tried looking it up but nothing came up. I’d suggest avoiding it if you can.
