Got a call from this number a minute ago but when I picked up all I heard was that weird disconnect beeping noise. After reading some of the reviews here, looks like it’s probably one of them call centre scams. I’ve blocked it straight away using my BT call protect app since I’m on the TPS list and really shouldn’t be getting these calls anyway!

RHS must have snagged my number from some survey or something. NOPE, THAT'S WRONG!!! I've told them so many times to take me off their list. I’ve no idea who’s behind this number, but I’ve gone ahead and blocked them. It’s an 0844 number, which practically screams premium rate, especially if you’re using a mobile. It’s best to just avoid it altogether and not give in to the temptation of ringing them back!

They’re probs linked to some dodgy gang - trying to fool you into handing over private info which they’ll sell on to other crooks. Those lot will keep bugging you till they’ve got enough to steal your identity and start using it for all sorts of dodgy payments and sign-ups.

Theres a company called Simply Digital, part of the Carphone Warehouse group, who are really persistent and annoying. They keep ringing constantly on speed dial but rarely pick up when you answer. I reckon they use automated dialling so loads of people call back, which probably cuts down on their phone costs while still pestering you. They act as agents for different firms, selling stuff like Sky installations and packages, doing energy comparisons and pushing other providers they want you to switch to. They’re located up in the North East of England.

I received a rather dubious text at 1:05 am on the 6th of August, 2016, from the number 60447. It read: “FREE MSG: hi jem, thank you for registering your details. Please text back ‘voucher’ to confirm. Visit www.vivalavoucher.co.uk or call helpline 03447451791.” To set the record straight, my name is not Jem, and I certainly haven’t signed up for anything. Fast forward to today, and I get a call from this number asking for someone named Jem ****** (couldn’t quite catch the last bit). I informed them they had dialled the wrong number and requested they remove it from their database. When they asked who I was, I refused to give my name, citing that I’m on the Telephone Preference Service. They hung up before I could find out who they were. This feels to me like a breach of the law regarding unsolicited calls.

If the info linking this to HOME DATA RESEARCH LTD with company number 08673515 is right, their landline is 0161 942 1800. It says this company was officially struck off and dissolved on 17 May 2016, according to the Gazette. Strange thing is, theyre still operating and calling me today, 25/5/16.

I just received a phone call from these individuals who seemed to have an alarming amount of personal information about me, including my phone numbers. They went on to assert that I had been involved in a car accident over the past year-which, to be clear, I absolutely haven’t! They tried reaching out to me last week as well, but didn’t bother leaving any voice message. Now, they’ve even taken to calling my landline, which feels utterly intrusive. This reeks of a scam in multiple ways. Honestly, I believe it’s wiser to take steps to block their number. The regulations that are supposed to safeguard individuals from this sort of nuisance seem utterly ineffective, leaving everyone feeling helpless as these callers continue their relentless pursuit. It's baffling how such tactics persist while the intended protections fail to deter them, allowing far too many people to be taken in by their dubious schemes.

They keep ringing and then just hanging up straight away?! I always check with 1471 and it’s always that same number. Proper frustrating.

I received a call from this number, and when I inquired about the caller's identity-he rather rushed through his name-it seems he lost his temper and abruptly hung up on me.

Really nosy questions, probably gonna try and sell me stuff like PPI, mortgage deals, life insurance or get me to claim back bank fees or something.

I've had just about enough of these callers! I really thought we'd put an end to this sort of nonsense by now.
