DPD are a complete rip off. I got a call saying a parcel I'd sent had gone missing. After loads of faffing about with eBay and then DPD, I found out I'd been hit with more than £26 in call charges. Proper joke.

Absolute scam number that Amazon gives for sorting out missing parcels. Total waste of time.

That DPD driver was telling porkies about trying to deliver my parcel - he never even showed up. Amazon gave me their contact number but when I called, they just hung up straight away, racking up a £1.30 charge. I called back again and ended up paying £2.62 without realising until I checked my phone bill days later. Well, that’s it, I’m canceling my Amazon Prime before it renews next week.

I got this number off the Amazon site to track my parcel with DPD. My order was late and I needed it for Christmas so I had to call. Ended up costing me £17 and nowhere on the Amazon contact page did it say it was a premium rate number. When I called, they were really unhelpful as well. Proper frustrating.

I've noticed an unexpected £18 charge on my bill, and I don't remember agreeing to any contract with this company.

Received an email from DPD asking for extra details to sort out my delivery and told me to ring a certain number. The lady who answered, had a really strong foreign accent and wasn’t helpful in the slightest. She never asked for any details and just put me on hold. After a while she just ended the call. My parcel arrived the day after anyway. Absolute scammers! If Vodaphone and DPD are aware of this, why haven’t they taken any action yet?

What should I do if this number has charged me without me realising?

DPD are ripping people off charging like £1 a minute just to answer a basic query.

Yeah, they rang claiming to be from DPD, saying they needed to sort out my parcel delivery! I’ve never been caught out by a scam before but they called me right after I’d phoned DPD, pretending to be from the depot or something! Didn’t clock it was a scam until I looked at my phone bill and saw an £8 charge for the call.

This number totally ripped me off. Just two calls ended up costing me 26 quid.

I ended up racking up over £3 in fees while attempting to clarify why my DPD delivery hadn't shown up, as they required additional details. I was on hold for ages, which inevitably increased the charges. The number that appeared was indeed listed in my delivery info, so it all seemed above board. This is clearly an issue DPD ought to address.

This number is supposedly for DPD according to the Amazon site. I got a text from Amazon saying there was an issue with my order and to call DPD at this number. Waited on the line for 10 minutes with no reply, then hung up. Ended up being charged £6.00 - what a total scam.

I was waiting for a delivery from DPD and got a text saying the driver had attempted to leave my parcel but no one was home. The message asked me to click a link to choose a new delivery time and safe spot. I did so, then was put through to a call centre where they took my details. The next day I got another text from DPD saying they would deliver the parcel, but they hadn’t noted the safe place I gave on the call. The call ended up costing me £7.79. Avoid calling this number at all costs!

Called 08448240505 thinking it was DPD, the driver just knocked on the window instead of ringing the doorbell. Ended up spending nearly £5 on the call. Ridiculous, we were home the whole time!

This is meant to be the legit DPD tracking number, but turns out it's seen as a roaming call. Be careful dialing it. Not only did DPD fail to sort out my question, but I also got stung with a fiver just for making the call.

Got billed for an issue they actually caused. They couldn’t locate my address no matter how hard I tried to help them. I kept ringing this DPD number through an Amazon page about deliveries (I just moved and had new stuff coming in). The calls cost loads, no warning about charges, and honestly, calling any customer service line should be free, especially when it’s their mistake. Amazon’s partly at fault for not listing the free number for DPD on their contact page.

I had a right hassle with DPD because my delivery got held up for weeks. I ended up ringing this number two times just to get it all fixed. To top it off, they charged me 37 Swiss francs just for making those calls. Proper bad show from DPD.

Could this be an authentic company? I received a call and a message saying they were attempting to deliver a package. Since I wasn’t home, they followed up with another text urging me to contact the number provided along with a reference code. I’m starting to suspect it might be a scam… what do you reckon? 🤔

This month, I've noticed a mysterious £7.50 charge on my bill linked to this number. It’s quite baffling, as I haven’t the slightest clue what it’s for!

I had to call this number to check on a lost parcel from DPD. After what felt like forever on hold, they said it hadn't been delivered because nobody was home - complete nonsense, I was there the whole day. To make things worse, I was billed over £6 just to hear their lies. Amazon, you might wanna think about dropping DPD if they're gonna stick with this crazy pricey number for delivery enquiries.

I was trying to sort out a return with Amazon, but they couldn't get in touch with DPD and told me to handle it on my own, giving me the contact number. Spent a good 20 minutes phoning DPD and now I've been charged £10.69! I've complained to Amazon, but they're refusing to pay me back even though they told me to call them. No mention this was a premium rate line! Feels like DPD’s just milking us dry and Amazon’s backing it all up. Really disappointed with both of them!

My parcel was purposely not delivered when it was supposed to be. I had to ring them several times the next day just to get it rescheduled, and they slapped a tenner charge on me for the calls. This is how they make their money, taking the mick out of customers. Really disappointed with DPD - absolutely terrible service!

I’ve recently noticed that I've racked up more than a tenner in call fees thanks to this number. I rang them after receiving a DPD delivery card to inquire about what had been attempted, only to discover it had nothing to do with my address at all! Quite frustrated, to say the least.
