I thought calling their helpline from my TalkTalk landline wouldn’t cost anything, but I ended up being billed for it. When I rang them up today to sort it out, they said it’s a ‘scam number’. Funny thing is, this site lists the number as belonging to TalkTalk! Honestly, their customer service is absolutely rubbish.

On the 6th of June, I rang Talk Talk since I’m one of their customers to sort out a complaint. I dialled 08448184099 and before saying anything, I asked if the call would cost me anything. The lady on the other end said it was free. However, when I checked my account online afterwards, I noticed I’d been hit with a charge of $3.43 (I’m using a Canadian PC so that’s why it’s dollars not pounds). Honestly, it’s pretty shocking that they charged me just for ringing them up, especially when they are my own provider, and even worse that they weren’t truthful about it.
