Hastings Direct called me, but they never said anything about the call cost when I was stuck on hold. Ended up costing me over £26! Proper rip off, honestly. Wouldn’t recommend getting your car insurance through them - better to look elsewhere and compare prices.

I got sent a vehicle policy with my name on it for a car that isn't mine. When I tried ringing the number on the paperwork, it just said I couldn’t call because I didn’t have enough credit. Honestly, quite puzzled about the whole thing.

Never let them keep you waiting on the line, just tell them to ring you back later! They hit me with a £12 fee for talking about some bogus claim that wasn’t even my fault. Seriously, don’t bother answering these calls.

I’m honestly shocked at being charged £22.20 just to fix my car insurance details with Hastings Direct. Not only is their cover super expensive, they slap on a fee of £25 just to update my address, then they hit me with a higher quote too. On top of that, my monthly premium has gone up. I won’t be sticking with them when my policy’s up for renewal. It’s annoying because my car’s actually safer at the new place than before, but my bill’s gone up instead!

I received a call from this number, and it was definitely linked to the Claims department. These calls usually come through if you've lodged a claim yourself or if another insurance company has alleged your involvement in an accident. Honestly, it's puzzling why this person claimed they were from Next, as it’s not related to sales at all. Sorry for any confusion caused.

At that, we simply replied, "No thanks," and promptly hung up. To clarify, we're not at all affiliated with Next.
