I received a call from someone claiming they could help me reclaim my PPI. They sounded convincing and asked for my bank details. They even mentioned a government reference number, CRM23165, along with an address in Bristol: 160 Aztec West, Business Park, BF32 4UB. The number they gave me was 14836192.

My mother, Madge, is 87 and rather prone to confusion. Recently, someone from Tucan rang her up, claiming she was due some money that they could retrieve for her. Utter nonsense! It felt like a fishing trip where they want you to guess what might be going on. I wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to fleece people for over £200 for some flimsy service they offer-certainly no special skills required on their part. Despite promising to cease their calls, they persisted for well over a month! I had to keep making calls on her behalf, pleading with them to stop, as she simply couldn’t comprehend what was happening. It’s quite distressing, honestly. I’m sure this sort of thing is against the rules.
