I’m registered with TotalJobs (www.totaljobs.com) in pursuit of contract work, and recently I got an email about PPI claims that made me curious enough to look into it, thinking it would be a trustworthy connection. For a few weeks, I was bombarded with pestering phone calls on both my mobile and home line, with the callers hanging up the moment I picked up. I came across a complaint stating someone returned a call to the premium rate number and their line was locked for an hour and a half! I do wonder if that’s how ‘PPI Adviceline’ is trying to rake in the profits... My suspicion is they’ve obtained phone numbers from registration details, which might explain why so many appear to be on the TPS and still get harassed by these leeches. If you share your number, it seems TPS won’t be much help. I hope this info proves useful to someone! :)
