That's the answer, really. These callers never leave any messages, so it’s not worth our time to respond. Ain't that just the way!

Indeed, we often receive three or four calls daily from these unfamiliar numbers peddling PPI or accident compensation via pre-recorded messages. It seems like each time they ring, they’ve got a different number to use. Quite the nuisance, really!
