I've been receiving calls from this number, and it appears to be yet another attempt to sell PPI. They seem to ring every single day without fail! Unfortunately, I've had no luck in identifying who's behind the calls, but I'm diligently working on it, as I'm considering legal action for the constant harassment.

It appears we've received a call from one of those payment protection reclaim firms (though at this point, it could be anyone!). We answered the fifth ring and were greeted by a rather rude lady who assured us she would remove my work number by the end of the day. However, we’re not holding our breaths, as she then abruptly hung up on us. Clearly, she could benefit from some lessons in basic courtesy! To all the companies employing this kind of marketing strategy, take note: this approach is utterly ineffective! All it achieves is a bunch of rather annoyed individuals.

This number has been persistently calling us every evening without fail. We often pick up, half-expecting it to be our bank due to the familiar 08... prefix, which they tend to use. However, it turns out that's not the case at all. Occasionally, we’re greeted with a pre-recorded message, while other times the caller simply hangs up. We reckon this is the work of a computerised dialler, and to be honest, it’s rather vexing as this has been happening for nearly twelve months now.
