On our Vodafone bill for 26 March 2023, there’s a charge of £7.40 for a call we definitely didn’t make! Really puzzled how this appeared.

I checked online first to find out if calls to 0844 numbers were included for free with my Vodafone plan, figured since they said landlines were covered, it would be fine. Didn’t dig any deeper though. Then I got charged a whopping £5.66 for a single call. Definitely not making that mistake again!!!

I've noticed this number cropping up thrice on our December bill, and I'm completely stumped as to who it belongs to.

On the 27th of September, I got two calls from this number around 5:07 and 5:09 pm. I honestly can’t remember answering them, yet I’ve been charged a bit more than a pound. How’s that possible?

That number’s Humax, you know, the one for TV like Freesat and Freeview. Just a heads up, calling them is pretty costly, so watch out before you ring.
