2 yearsSomebody rang me pretending to be from 02, saying she needed me to read out a security code she'd supposedly sent. Since I’m with 02, I thought it might be legit at first. Then I noticed the code had a warning not to share it with anyone, even 02 employees, which made me suspicious. She started getting pushy and kept insisting, so I just ended the call. She ended up calling me like ten times after that, but I didn’t pick up again. Now I’m kicking myself because I also ended up giving her my email address.2 yearsA woman rang me saying she was from O2 and was trying to give a cut on my phone bill. I wasn’t convinced, so I asked her to provide the number for O2 to confirm. She stuttered a bit and suggested calling me back later but never actually gave a proper contact number. Before I could say more, she went and ended the call herself.
