I've received that same message as well. So, just to clarify, if I don’t text ‘quit,’ will I be charged £3 every month by default? I’ve tried sending ‘quit’ to the shortcode, but it keeps failing, even though I can message other numbers without any issues. Will there be a charge for attempting to send that text message if, by chance, it does finally go through?

Oh, what a shocker! We didn’t receive a return call and instead got another text claiming I’ve subscribed to their services. Absolute nonsense! I can’t fathom how Vodafone isn’t taking any action. Ofcom, here we come! I refuse to pay any bills to Vodafone until this mess gets sorted. Let them disconnect us; I’d love to see them in court. The court will quickly unveil how shoddy their service truly is and highlight the lack of protection they offer their customers. At the end of the day, these charges appearing on the bill make them accountable for all this nonsense.

I received a rather dodgy text that read something like: “FreeMsg: 100 iPods for 100 lucky winners!” Now, was Ronaldo French or Portuguese? I’m instructed to text CASH and reply to 87666 to join Evision for a chance at three prizes a week until 26/06. There’s also a number, 08445796340, and a pointer to text ‘quit’ if I want to be rid of this nonsense. What a load of rubbish! We don't subscribe to anything, and until now, we’ve never encountered such irritating spam!
