To claim your money, simply reply with YES or call 08445599500.” However, we’ve never taken out any loan insurance in our lives, so it’s pretty apparent this is a scam. Has anyone been kept in the loop about what measures the police and government agencies are taking to combat these kinds of scams?

Not long ago, I received a text from the number +44740354745 saying: "Complimentary message! Our files suggest you might qualify for £3500 owing to Mis-sold Loan Insurance! To proceed, reply YES or call 08445599500." It's rather curious, considering I have never had any loan insurance in my life. Quite evidently, this seems to be a dodgy scam. I’m quite interested to know what actions the authorities or government agencies are taking to combat such fraudulent activities. Anyone have any insights?
