I got a call from this number out of the blue, no idea why, and somehow they managed to put the call costs on my bill. It was just 22p, nothing big, but still, it really winds me up on principle.

This number is from a debt collection agency. I've asked them multiple times to take my number off their list but they keep ringing anyway. I had a parking fine that I disagreed with and refused to pay, but that’s got nothing to do with my phone number. They send a letter demanding you ring this premium rate number to sort it out, and once you do, they just won't stop hassling you. Don't bother calling unless you fancy getting stung with charges… otherwise dealing with them is a real pain.
