I signed up for their training course and actually got accepted. Gotta say, the training was really good and I learnt quite a bit. But just when I was nearly finished, like 90% done, I got cut off. I probably gave more than I got, and ended up feeling pretty gutted that my hopes got smashed like that. [email protected]

I got an email from what they claim is Discreet Private Investigations offering me a job, but it’s a total scam. The website they linked to is fake, not registered with Companies House, and although they put an ICO number on there, it’s completely dodgy. I’ve reported it because the Managing Director they show on the site is actually still an active police officer, so that’s just wrong. The NFIB have this on their radar now as well. They want you to hand over your personal info and bank details before they even talk about paid work, which is a massive red flag. I emailed them asking for proof and soon after they wiped the ICO number off the site, but thankfully I’d already saved it. The phone number they use is premium rate too - do yourself a favour and don’t ring them.
