Earlier in the day, we posted our number online for a property viewing, so it seems a host of spammers have taken note and are now trying their luck!

At precisely ten seconds past midnight, we received an unexpected phone call from someone trying to sell us broadband services. What struck me as particularly strange was that they seemed to know we were students. We made it clear that our university supplies our internet, yet they continued to press on, claiming we could download adult content at greater speeds. Puzzled, we asked if this was some sort of prank, to which they insisted it wasn't. Consequently, we decided to end the call. The line was entirely silent apart from their voice, making it all the more peculiar that we were being pitched broadband at such an ungodly hour.
