Earlier today, we received a rather unusual call from this number - just a single ring before it cut off. Out of curiosity, we decided to ring back, but were met with a rather vague message to “please hold while I try to connect your call.” Honestly, we have no clue who this number is associated with. Thankfully, we hung up quite quickly, but we’re a bit anxious about whether this could potentially run up a hefty bill. It’s a good reminder that we ought to exercise a bit more caution when it comes to returning calls from unknown numbers!

I’ve just had a right dodgy call from these cheeky blokes. They hung up as soon as I answered. I decided to give them a bell back, and all I got was the shrill whine of some aggressive-sounding woman rattling on. It’s plainly a scam, isn’t it?
