A call came through to my grandmother, who's an 85-year-old gem, claiming he could help her save on her home insurance, but then bizarrely asked for her bank details! I've already gotten in touch with the police, but they said there's not much they can do about it, though they did share this website with me. My nan can’t recall the name he went by, but thankfully she's sharp enough to refrain from sharing any personal information. I've also had a peek at her bank statements, and thankfully, there hasn't been any suspicious activity as of now (but I’m keeping a close eye)!
