Not sure who that number belongs to but my phone rang it somehow all by itself. Since I didn’t mean to call, I’m guessing it could be some sort of hacker or scammer.

I rang this number to set up the registration for my new Hotpoint fridge-freezer. To my surprise, I noticed on my phone bill that I was hit with an access fee of £6.25, along with an additional service charge of 83 pence. Quite the unexpected expense, I must say!

I ended up hanging on the line for what felt like an eternity, and the lady on the other end would not stop pushing additional products and policies at me - utterly infuriating! To top it all off, the call set me back £6.00 - that ought to be against the law. It's nothing short of daylight robbery!
