I thought weekend calls were free but I still got billed for the two calls I placed to the number above and 08444778000. I’d really suggest steering clear of these as it’s better to find another way. I was trying to book something with National Holidays. They put me on hold ages before passing me onto the other number, and that call lasted just over 7 minutes.

They rang me up asking for my bank details, which seemed a bit dodgy to me.

I just looked at my phone bill and saw they charged me 42p for only 14 seconds calling to stop their letters being sent to my old place. In the end, I just sent the letter back with a note on the back saying I don’t want any more post. Phone call costs are insane... especially for something I never asked for! Hate feeling like I’m getting ripped off.

I found out this number is actually for national holidays and quite pricey to use. Better avoid calling it and try to find a cheaper option. You can check out the 'say no to' site where there are plenty of other numbers or just contact local agents instead.
