When I checked my phone bill, I was shocked to find a charge of £4.18 plus 84p VAT for a call I didn’t make. I’m a pensioner and have a few minor health issues that have been put on hold due to Covid 19. I do recall a local clinic contacting me about a slight ear concern to see if it needed further attention, but by then it had already improved. The bill shows a call lasting 20 minutes and 37 seconds, and oddly, it says I made the call, which I definitely didn’t do. I’m not great with technology, but this fee feels really steep and not fair at all.
