Just picked up this call and should’ve let it ring! I’ve never bought anything off those TV shopping channels. The woman speaking was rushing through her spiel so quick and every time I tried to say something, she just brushed me off and kept going! Proper annoying and frustrating. When I told her I didn’t want anything, she kept on talking and mentioned something about posting details. I had to raise my voice, said clearly I didn’t want the product, but she ignored me still, thanked me like I’d bought something and hung up. So maddening! Now I have to ring my bank and block my card in case they try any dodgy charges. These callers have zero scruples. If only I could find out who they are!

If you've purchased something from those home shopping networks recently, beware. They’ll try to nick £99.99 from your bank account and getting a refund is a nightmare, even though they promise money back within 10 days, don’t hold your breath.

They claim to send out welcome packs during holidays, but if you don't cancel within a month of receiving it, they sneakily charge you nearly £100 annually without much warning.
