When I looked up "BT fault line tel number," this number showed up. My phone line was completely out and my internet was barely functioning, so the broadband was clearly affected. When you get someone on the other end, it sounds just like BT - they ask the same questions. The recorded message says something like "due to high call volume, your call will be answered shortly." I waited on hold for nearly an hour, didn’t get connected, and ended up with a £23 charge on my O2. Luckily, a mate sent me another number by text and I got through in a few minutes to report the problem.
