Watch out for a loan scam! We’ve experienced it ourselves. They claim you need to fork out £59.95 as a processing fee and assure you the paperwork will arrive shortly. Spoiler alert: it never does! This number now just leads straight to a recorded message, and no one seems to be on the other end. Avoid at all costs!

I just received a rather dubious call from a loan company using this number, claiming that I've been approved for some sort of loan. Upon looking into the number they provided, it became apparent that these folks are likely running a scam. I strongly urge everyone to proceed with caution and stay alert! We think this matter ought to be addressed by the Financial Services Authority. The chap we spoke to was named Shaun, and he called from 08444100440.

It's rather appalling, really. We've not so much as consented to a loan, yet somehow these individuals have managed to withdraw £59.95 from our account - for what reason, pray tell? Numerous attempts to contact them have proven fruitless; we make the call, only for the line to drop without a word. Quite the scam, if you ask me! Does anyone know if there’s any chance of us retrieving our funds?

We've recently received a call that we think might be a scam-absolutely splendid, right? They lured us in with what seemed like tempting monthly instalments. As a result, we ended up sharing our details with them. After a bit of digging online, we realised we need to cancel our card. Now, I’m left wondering if they can still make deductions after we’ve done that. They won’t be taking any money until the 8th, so here’s hoping we’re in the clear!

We keep receiving calls at our nana’s place from this lot, insisting on having a word with us. The thing is, we don’t actually reside there, and we’re baffled as to how they've gotten hold of our number. It's quite annoying, really. We’ve tried ringing them back to sort it out, but it seems no one is answering the phone. Any tips on how we can put an end to this?

Absolutely shocking! These chaps requested our bank and card details under the guise of conducting a "credit assessment." We clearly told them not to withdraw anything from our account, but lo and behold, a rather sizable £59.95 vanished from our bank just a week later. It's now been over three weeks, and despite sending them six emails asking for our money back, we’ve heard nothing. Still, they keep ringing us, insisting that someone will eventually answer. This feels nothing short of robbery and a complete scam!

I recently received a call saying we’d been granted a loan of £2000, but only after we paid a processing fee of £59.95. They sent me a document via email to sign, and upon reaching out to them again, they assured me that the loan would be paid out by 29th July 2010. Well, here I am still waiting for that money! I can’t seem to get through to any of the phone numbers they gave me, and the only email address I have keeps bouncing back. It’s clearly a scam! How on earth do these individuals manage to pull this off so easily?

Received a call from these folks, and they've managed to withdraw £59.95 from our account. When I tried calling back, the line just rings and no one ever answers. We've also had no luck tracking down any other contact details for them. Quite frustrating!

Just noticed a charge of £59.95 on our account from something called HERITAGEF.NET, listed under UK E-COMMERCE. Has anyone else experienced this or have any information about them? Would appreciate any insights as it feels a bit dodgy!

I've been trying to get a refund since May 2010, and the folks on the phone are downright infuriating and utterly unhelpful. It's hard not to think that these individuals should face some legal consequences, especially considering we might as well have chucked £59.99 out of the window for all the good it's done us!

I've been trying to reclaim some funds dating back to May 2010, and to be honest, the individuals I've spoken to over the phone have been particularly unhelpful and rather rude. It's our belief that these folks ought to face consequences for their actions. At this rate, we might as well toss £59.99 down the drain along with our car!

What a scam! There was absolutely no loan involved, and clearly, I’ve not been approved for anything. It seems these folks are just pretending to be a legitimate organisation, trying to extract a fee from unsuspecting individuals. They’re merely brokers masquerading as a proper loan company. I found it rather suspicious that they were so eager to acquire my bank card details, especially when I hadn’t inquired about purchasing anything at all. Definitely sounds like a dodgy setup!

We’ve been conned by these individuals who swiped £69.95 from our bank account. They assured us that nothing would be taken until we signed their paperwork, but lo and behold, the money vanished and we’ve yet to see any documents. Honestly, it’s infuriating dealing with these crooks!
