I noticed a strange extra fee on my phone bill and had no clue who that number was. I’m pretty sure I never rang ALDI, so it really caught me off guard to see I’d apparently called them. It’s so frustrating that companies do this and end up charging us like this, feels like such a scam!

On the 19th Nov at 12:04, there was a 15p charge for a service, then on the 22nd Nov at 14:37 another fee of 32p showed up. The total access fees added were £7.37 and £3.35 respectively. In total, it came to around £17.51. I have a feeling this might have been some dodgy banking activity.

I thought I was ringing Aldi, so I dialled this number and ended up waiting on hold for about 50 minutes. Now my phone bill shows a £30 charge! I honestly don’t know how I even found this number. I did get through to Aldi, but it only clicked when I checked my bill today that I’d been conned somehow.
