Got a really crackly call, sounded like it was from India, some lad saying he was from Sky’s Tech Team wanting to boost my broadband. When I asked for a number, he gave one. I’d had a call like this before - a pretty sneaky scam where they pretended to want to pay me compensation for my Sky broadband, but only if I gave them my bank deets. Told them to send it straight to Sky since they already have my info. Then they kept pressing for my bank details and when I wouldn’t budge, they started calling me stupid and all sorts. Oh, and heads up - don’t call back on the same phone number straight away. They keep the line open with fake dialling sounds and answer as if they’re Sky. Dodgy stuff!

What a rip off! Had to sit on hold forever with Sky, really rubbish service overall. Totally not worth the cost.
