Some firm called Slater and Gordon have this dodgy trick where even if you just answer their call and they don’t say a word, they charge your number. If you ring them back to sort it out, they hit you with some ridiculous fee. They basically make money off ringing you, and then again when you try to complain. Honestly, best thing is just to ignore them totally and make sure you sign up to the TPS scheme - it’s a great way to get those cold callers fined by the government.
