The person was really hostile and just hung up on me. They kept calling over and over again, which was super annoying. At one point, they got quite angry.

I've had this number ring my home phone repeatedly, the latest being today (Sunday, 29/9/13) at 11:56 am. They hang up straight away and never leave a voicemail. Even though I signed up for the TPS ages ago and said no to marketing from the council, these annoying calls just keep coming. Feels like no one’s really got the power to put an end to this rubbish!
