Got a call from a bloke with a strong accent, said he was Alex working for EE. Sounded dodgy from the start, definitely not calling from an office. Kept telling me they needed to send a new SIM so I could get 5G, even though my phone’s already on 5G. Tried pushing a QR code on me too. Asked to speak to his manager but he just ended the call before I could. Bit fishy, so I dropped it.
