Someone rang me saying they were with EE and that my sim card was about to expire. They kept asking loads of personal info, but when I told them I wasn’t buying it, they just ended the call.

This caller claimed they're from BT/EE and told me my SIM card would stop working in a couple of days, saying a replacement would be sent by post. They asked for my email, but I didn't share it. I also overheard that they try to get you to say YES during the call, probably to use your voice or email for dodgy stuff. Just be careful with these lot!

Sounds like a total scammer to me. They said they were with another network and tried to tell me they were gonna switch off my sim. The moment I called them out and said I'd report it, they just hung up straight away.
