I promptly blocked them, but then I started receiving calls from another number, +08448848911. Does anyone happen to know who might be behind these mysterious calls?

I received a couple of calls from an unknown number that rang twice, but I couldn't make out who was on the other end. Given that it was outside normal working hours, I chose not to answer. The numbers looked quite generic and possibly from mobile phones, but I suspect they might be international. In the UK, calling centres are usually well aware of the numbers registered with the Telephone Preference Service, especially for individuals and sole traders. It's maddening, really!
