I received a call from a company masquerading as Sky, claiming they could safeguard my credit card details and lower my monthly bills. However, I double-checked with Sky, and it turns out there was no such call made from their end. Apparently, Sky handles its communications via letters, and payments are strictly done through direct debit only. It feels like a rather dodgy setup, to say the least!

I've had a rather dubious experience with this company claiming to represent Sky; they’ve asked for my bank card details, suggesting they could lower my monthly bills. After doing a bit of digging with Sky directly, I found out that this is absolutely not how they operate. Sky doesn’t outsource their communications to these types of callers at all. They handle all their protection arrangements through official mail, and any payments are strictly set up via Direct Debit. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
