Received a text message claiming to be from O2, stating there was a significant issue with our account. I’m quite suspicious and reckon it’s a scam, so we’ve opted not to call back.

I just received a text from this number claiming to be O2. They suggested providing us with a virtual phone number. We didn’t bother returning their call, as it seemed rather dodgy. It feels like someone at O2 must be handing my number over to con artists. We actually switched our number from Vodafone, so there’s no conceivable way they should know I’m supposedly with O2.
