I called what I thought was the Good Housekeeping magazine customer service, because I was having trouble with their website. Didn’t know it was a premium number though, and it ended up costing me a fortune! Turns out it’s linked to the Hearst Group. Quite a shock!

Just a heads up, don’t ring them back from your mobile, like others have said before. The charges are crazy high - you’ll get stung with big bills!

I rang up to get some help about a cartridge for a tap my plumber is fixing. Didn’t fancy waiting on hold, so I sent an email instead but they say it takes about 3 days to get back to you. Not very pleased since I got charged for the call anyway.

This number rang me and when I tried calling back, it just went straight to an answerphone that was already full. Ended up costing me £6.19 on my Vodafone bill for nothing! No clue who they are but seriously, don’t bother returning their call.
