Just a heads up, the number 08000497827 is the official TalkTalk support line and calling it won't cost you anything. I accidentally called a different number thinking it was theirs and ended up paying £7.34 for 50 minutes! I reached out to TalkTalk about the mix-up and they kindly promised to refund the £7.34. Make sure you dial the right one to avoid being charged!

I'm a TalkTalk user and I don't understand why they've gone and charged me for calling their help line.

So, I called the TalkTalk helpline expecting it to be free like they say, but ended up getting charged £4 after talking for about 25 mins. Bit annoying, really.
