Hello there! Just received a call on my mobile from a number I didn't recognise, and to top it off, they didn't even bother to leave a message. It really makes me think the call mustn't have mattered much to me. Quite unsolicited and rather dodgy if you ask me! You see, I tend to get bombarded with 3-4 of these calls daily on my landline, even though I've signed up to the Telephone Preference Service several times over the last ten years. I understand the theory is that one registration should suffice, but if the TPS is not effective, one must take matters into their own hands! Honestly, it feels like the TPS is more of a myth than a service at times. That’s why I genuinely appreciate platforms such as callernotes.org that expose these scammers and telemarketers. We need to think of our loved ones, especially our parents and grandparents-they could easily fall victim to these pests next, don't you think?

I received an unexpected call on my mobile, yet the caller didn't bother to leave a message. This tells me the call likely held no significance for me. It feels both unrequested and rather dodgy. Just to share, I regularly receive a handful of these types of calls on my landline, even though I’ve signed up with the Telephone Preference Service multiple times over the years (I’m aware you only need to register once, but if TPS fails, I believe in taking extra measures!). Sadly, the TPS seems woefully inadequate in curbing these nuisances. I really appreciate services like unknownphone.com that shed light on con artists and scams. After all, we all have loved ones-parents and grandparents-who could easily fall victim to such schemes.
