Hello there! Just received a call on my mobile from a number I didn't recognise, and to top it off, they didn't even bother to leave a message. It really makes me think the call mustn't have mattered much to me. Quite unsolicited and rather dodgy if you ask me! You see, I tend to get bombarded with 3-4 of these calls daily on my landline, even though I've signed up to the Telephone Preference Service several times over the last ten years. I understand the theory is that one registration should suffice, but if the TPS is not effective, one must take matters into their own hands! Honestly, it feels like the TPS is more of a myth than a service at times. That’s why I genuinely appreciate platforms such as callernotes.org that expose these scammers and telemarketers. We need to think of our loved ones, especially our parents and grandparents-they could easily fall victim to these pests next, don't you think?

I got a call from an unknown number on my mobile, and they didn't even leave a voicemail - to me, that says the call wasn’t really worth their time. It was an unexpected and fishy call. I get a few like this on my landline every now and then, even though I’ve signed up to the TPS multiple times over the years (I know it’s supposed to be a one-time thing, but when it clearly doesn’t work, what else can you do?). The TPS seems pretty useless or at least not very reliable. Honestly, I’m thankful for sites like unknownphone.com that help spot scammers and crooks. Especially since we’ve all got elderly family who could easily fall victim to these dodgy calls.
