Today, I picked up a call and was greeted with a ringing sound on the other end, almost like I had been the one to initiate the dialling. I quickly ended the call, sensing it could be a dodgy situation that might cost me some pennies. Better safe than sorry, I thought!

Today, I got a call from this number on my mobile. I picked up, but there was barely any sound at all - no one spoke and no automated message played like I’ve heard before. After waiting about 20 seconds with nothing happening, I just hung up.

So this number rang me earlier today, and when I picked up there was nothing but a ringing sound like I was the one calling out. It felt dodgy, like some sort of scam, so I just ended the call right away to avoid any possible charges.
