There's this app called Truecaller you can get on both Android and Apple devices. It stops loads of spam calls by blocking numbers on a known spam list, and you can also add any numbers or texts you want to block yourself. It even blocks calls from numbers it doesn't recognise automatically. It shows who’s ringing you even if you don’t have their number saved. Since I started using it, my phone hasn’t been as annoying and it’s made things way less stressful. I tell all my mates dealing with unwanted calls to try it out.

As soon as I answer, some robotic voice starts going on about them trying to reach me regarding PPI money I’m apparently owed. I never had PPI on any of my loans, and they don’t say who they actually are. It's so frustrating I just end up hanging up straight away. No clue who they are.
