Next time they ring me, I reckon I’ll put their wits to the test by saying, ‘sorry, I’m behind the wheel, can I ring you back?’ Or perhaps, I'll just cheekily mention the possibility of legal action.

We're receiving an abundance of calls from this particular number. It appears to be quite a popular line, and the extension seems to lead to a Humanitarian Policy advisor. Frankly, they're turning out to be quite bothersome!

I've received no less than five calls from this number today, starting at 10 in the morning and as recent as 3:24. Three of those calls were nothing but silence before they ended abruptly. One of them had a pre-recorded message concerning banks, while another was about some accident I might have been involved in. Quite baffling, really!

My landline in London buzzed twice, so I answered it, yet there was nobody on the line for about 25 seconds. I tried ringing back using 0471. Clearly, they were not planning on answering any incoming calls! The recorded message I heard went something like: "Good day. You’ve reached Orient Utilities (or possibly Oriel or Orion - the accent was Northern Irish and quite murky, likely intentional). We're sorry we couldn't share our exclusive deal on gas and electricity with you, but fret not, we’ll be in touch again." Oh, I do hope they don’t! Please, spare me.

I suspect this is an automated message. I've had the same call come through on my mobile and landline, and now my wife has also received it. I’d advise against returning the call, as it’s from an 0843 number, which means there are likely some hefty charges involved. It’s most probably a scam!

This number seems to ring us nearly every single day. We've already asked them to take us off their list, yet they decided to call again today at precisely 4.13 pm. I was in the midst of reiterating our request when the bloke abruptly hung up on me! Not the sort of service you'd expect from a company that might want our business.
