I received a missed call yesterday (28th May 14) - such a nuisance! It's quite disheartening to see that both the TPS and Ofcom seem to be completely ineffective. Utterly pointless expenditure of tax money. I genuinely think we ought to rally together for a campaign urging everyone to activate Caller ID, allowing us to screen our incoming calls effectively. This way, only our known contacts would be able to reach us directly. Any unknown numbers would be blocked from ringing through but could leave a voicemail if they wished to get in touch. I understand that medical professionals might be reluctant to share their numbers, but they could always opt for a line that filters all incoming calls.
