Dodgy callers, that's what they are! A woman of Asian descent rang me, claiming I was part of an accident. I ended up chatting to her for about ten minutes before she realised she had the wrong person. Thank heavens for mobile phones, though; I could swiftly block her number. Cheers, Jim from Scotland.

I didn't pick up, but I’m quite certain it doesn't match my local area code.

I didn’t get a response, so I ended the call.

So, I picked up the phone, and a pre-recorded voice chirped, "YOU’RE THE CHOSEN ONE!" At that point, I simply ended the call. It’s astonishing how these scammers are becoming quite sly, using familiar local and standard mobile digits. Fingers crossed I’ll have some good fortune come my way today!

I answered a call from an unfamiliar number, but the line went dead just a few seconds later. Quite odd, really!
