Got a spam call claiming I’d won £1000 - total nonsense. I don’t even own a car, so the bit about an accident was just a load of rubbish. I hung up and blocked the number right away. Seriously, these calls need to be stopped somehow.

I picked up and got one of those recorded messages saying I'd won either an iPad or £1000, then it told me to press 2 to keep going and they'd ring me back in a day or so, or press 9 to end the call. I just didn’t press any button and they ended the call.

The phone rang for ages, so I picked it up, assuming it was a call regarding a job I had applied for. To my surprise, it was just a robotic voice droning on about having been chosen to win a grand. At that, I simply hung up.

I just put my car in the garage, so I figured it might be them calling. Turned out to be one of those "congratulations, you’ve won" scams. I ended the call straight away and put their number on block.

Back in November 2017, I received a recorded call from these scammers trying to sell cheap iPads. My phone number is supposed to be on the do-not-call list, but they obviously ignore that. Seems like they just dial numbers hoping to catch someone gullible or stupid. Honestly, I wish I could find out the personal number of whoever runs that company.

I got a call on my landline, and when i rang back, a voice said i'd won either an iPad or £250 worth of shopping vouchers. Seemed dodgy, so i just ended the call and blocked the number on my phone.
