I received a call today featuring a rather dodgy and robotic-sounding woman claiming I could win a £1000 prize or an iPad. They urged me to press 1 to keep chatting or 9 to decline. Strangely, there was no mention of any company name, nor how they even managed to grab hold of my ruddy number! Knowing that there's always a catch to these things, I chose to just hang up and move on.
